Paul Kroner Solo Show

Sculptor and visual artist Paul Kroner will present his first home-city solo show at Dick Waller’s ArtPlace, February 20 through April 20, 2020.

The gallery show will feature Kroner’s bronzes, paintings, prints and animations, including new additions to his ongoing series of “Twoods”. Opening reception will be held on Thursday, February 20, from 6:00-9:00 pm and will feature jazz musicians from the nearby School for the Creative and Performing Arts. The event is free to the public.

Kroner’s recent “Twood” series have appeared in multiple shows and galleries in New England and the Midwest where his art is gaining momentum. Many of his pieces are found in private collections across the nation as well.

Part of the well-known local Kroner Dry Cleaners family, Paul moved back to Cincinnati in 2017 after living in the Boston area for 37 years. He is a ’77 graduate of LaSalle High School, and an ’82 graduate of the Design, Art, Architectural and Planning (DAAP) program at the University of Cincinnati.

Dick Waller’s ArtPlace is a studio and gallery located in a beautiful 19th century building on historic Court Street, just 2 blocks from Washington Park. The ArtPlace is a space for community gatherings and is committed to showing local and new artists.
