NYC-based photographer Joshua Kessler returns to Dick Waller’s ArtPlace for the closing night of “Frame Rate: A Meditation on Light, Shadow and Color,” his first solo show of abstract, color-driven photographs and micro-videos. The exhibit is part of the citywide 2018 FotoFocus Biennial Photography event.
This closing-night event will include musical performances by A.K. Strange of The Amprays and Robert Cherry, Guy Vanasse and Shira Beder of Plastic Ants.

Joshua Kessler’s “Frame Rate” is a part of the 2018 FotoFocus Biennial. Now in its fourth iteration, the Biennial spans over 90 projects at museums and galleries across Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Columbus, and Dayton, Ohio; and features more than 250 artists, curators, and educators.
